Just throwing the idea out there, see who might be up for a <insert beverage of your choice here> around the weekend that the aforementioned festival takes place. Myself and tommydee will be visiting from opposing ends of the country, and I'm sure he'll be up for a beer or two.  If anyone has a good idea for a venue, time/date, etc, please mention it. So, who's up for it? |

What dates are your here from to etc.
As for venue - let's do an elimination thing by listing our requirements - If there is Karaoke - we will not be there:) - Bally Hate it with a passion.

As for venues, I'll bow to your superior local knowledge and let you guys choose. Although karaoke is also out as far as I'm concerned!

No problem Bondee, don't worry about it, you have your reasons but we will get together at some point. If you want a beer companion, send me a PM, I don't need much of an excuse to get out of mixing concrete.  We are down in Blackpool Wednesday 14th. but other than that we / I should be around. The Red Arrows are due on Sunday 11th, assuming that their recent sad event will not affect their visit. I usually like to watch them from the end of Stone Jetty as that gives the best viewing / photography point, providing the Air Sea Rescue or Air Ambulance are not planning a visit at the same time. |

That's one particular Sunday we probably wouldn't be able to make it. I too love watching the Red Arrows from the Stone Jetty.

It's a same the Arrers didn't make it. I found a quiet little spot on Heysham Head to watch them from, but instead I ended up sitting there listening to the wind in the trees and the waves breaking on the shore.
I had a very peaceful week. The weather (sort of) prevented me from doing what I really would've like to do, but I guess that means I have the perfect excuse to come back again! ;D Photos will be posted in the relevant part of the forum once I've uploaded them.
I'm back at home now. Already working on getting some of my problems sorted... Spoke to the doctor this morning and I'll arrange a meeting with my line manager and MD when I go back to work on Monday.

Glad you enjoyed relaxing in the glorious weather Bondee and gave you a chance to take stock of things, it never rains in Morecambe you know:)
If you want bad weather, you have to travel all the way down to Blackpool for the illuminations. We did that on Wednesday and got a bit wet walking from the Pleasure beach to the north end of the illuminations.
