Yeah, the afternoon's good for me too. I'm meeting a friend in Lancaster on one day (but I don't know which yet

) and I have plans for Saturday, but any other afternoon is good for me. The way the weather is looking, sitting in a pub may be my best option.

I'm in West End Road, but I don't mind wandering up to another part of town. You know the town's pubs better than me so pick a good'un and a time and, all being well, I'll see you there.

Ha! Thanks for the optimism, Willow! I somehow think anyone who's hoping for decent weather this week will be disappointed. I'm currently sitting in my hotel room waiting for the rain to stop (or at least ease off) so I can go out and get some fresh, clean air.

Going out while it's like this would be pointless. I'd be soaked in less than 5 minutes.

I looked like a drowned rat after the walk back from Morrisons to West End Road yesterday.

Hmmm... I probably won't know what I'm doing on Monday afternoon until Monday morning. I'm taking it day by day because of the weather.

Rain was forecast for yesterday (Saturday) but I spent most of the day on Arnside Knott in bright sunshine!
