They will be a bit cagey about you seeing the 'specialist' equipment they use. After all, if word got out that they use the modern equivalent of a television detecter van (now called a presence detector) they would be turned into a laughing stock.
I am one of those sceptics when it comes to supernatural things. Part of me wants to believe in it all but I am not convinced.
Maybe it is because I have never had a close encounter with a spirit, apart from Gin, that is.
According to their website, Yvettes bio! She seems such a nice girl too.

They must have been expecting a "spooky" night at the Winter Gardens if the number of Portaloos outside was anything to go by. ;D

Me too I'm a bit sceptics as well !! It's Judges Lodgings tonight, I want to get back into the Gardens as I worked on the "Spot's" when the Black and whites where last here. I want to see if they have altered it up in the Gods, When this team came last year they never went that high up, but they said that it felt as though the building was split into two halves right down the center line, A good and bad. I was stood across that center line working my "Spot" does that mean my left is bad and my right is good If Yvette's chair was to lift with her sat on it and fly around the "Garden" now that would be interesting ;D

I'll look forward to seeing this when it's on TV - but only because it involves places I know. I am not particularly impressed by the show at all. It all seems very contrived. Even if places are haunted I doubt ghosts will come out to play just to be on telly.

Don't be so soft - if they offer you a drink, just politely refuse.

Oh dear, I was almost tempted to log in and say something but I think I'll leave it to you Keith. ;D I know I live in Accrington and have often said that I think our two councils must consult each other for ideas on how not to run a borough but Morecambe does have a lot more going for it than Accy - I'd much rather have a walk along the sea front than my usual walk down Willows Lane to the sports centre or down Ormerod Street to the "market"! Crikey Morecambe even has a better market than Accy these days. Mind you, we have got "t'Coppie" and a grand old view over the town when you get up there. Morecambe used to have a Polo tower which gave the same effect for less effort but sadly that is no more. There are far more nice places to walk to from up there than down here though. I've had enough of soggy fields and Priestly Clough with its dodgy footpaths and even dodgier lurkers.

I agree totally Willow and the only thing I miss about Accrington is lurking round Priestley Clough and the other one next to Pendleton Ave. Seems that nobody wants to disagree with my comments. We had a trip down last weekend and drove along Blackburn Road from Church. If someone had shown me a photo taken from the old Antley Garage towards Accrington, I would not have recognised the place. We had intended walking into town to see what has changed there but didn't have the time.
