If its ok with the mods I'd like to bring your attention to our Trolley Tokens we sell to raise funds for our local M.S. Society.
These were given the sole blessng of the maker of the Eric Morecambe statue that can be seen on Morecambe sea front.
The sculpture Graham Ibbotson has told us we can use his design for any merchandise we have to sell.
Firstly we had a lapel pin badge
and we now have the trolley token
We ask that people donate a minimum £1 but if anyone cares to give more then that is very kind of everyone.
We have a collection box with these Erics in them at Carnforth railway station tea room,, Ashtrees Surgery (Main street Carnforth) and doted round the area.
I collect from the station tea rooms and Ashtree surgery and 2 collecting tubs in Crumbs Cafe (New Street Carnforth) and Over Kellet Village Store (where theres still a post office;)).
I collect on average £30 a month from these places.Some months neither of the Eric places have much in. Other times I have to go twice in a month (but not oftern:().
Sadly some kind theif took the money (and Erics) from Barclays bank. The bank had a CCTV of the person but the police wont do anything:(.

I had been telling my hubby about the time I was in Morecombe when the Moby Dick and Hotel was hit by lightening and burnt down. My parents, sister and myself had just come off the Moby Dick when lightening stuck
