Thankyou very kindly - I don't feel my age either, I am sure someone got their calculations wrong. What went on? Well, I knew we were going away from Saturday to Monday because I had to juggle some work about but didn't know any actual details. Saturday - was give a card in an envelope saying I had to drive to York. We arrived in York, sat around for the afternoon and went out for a superb meal. During the meal I was given another envelope containing details of Sunday's activities - stayed in York. Sunday - Got up close and personal with a big digger followed by a couple of hours of quad biking near Thirsk, had some beer afterwards and another fabulous meal in the evening - stayed in York. Monday - Drive home. It was brilliant but some parts of my 50 year old body are aching. Driving home was fine but getting out of the car was not easy.       |

I did thanks - All the credit should go to Mrs Keef for organising the whole thing.
She is not going to be too happy when she learns that a parachute jump will be used to celebrate her milestone birthday in May next year!

No problem Trev - My neck and back are sore through over use but the important bits are still working! Yes, my fingers can still type so all is well - Yabba Dabba Doo - that'll be the birthday wine then!

I had been telling my hubby about the time I was in Morecombe when the Moby Dick and Hotel was hit by lightening and burnt down. My parents, sister and myself had just come off the Moby Dick when lightening stuck
