Hi All. I just thought I would tease your minds with the following puzzle. One of the members of a Cyprus forum (and a Bay webber) asked me this question this morning. Where was this picture taken from. In Cyprus, it took me about 30 minutes to find where it was taken from. And in fact the final building was deduced by Mrs Trev.. Anyone got an answer.....

Certainly very close and in the right direction Keith . The person who set me the challenge lives in the Solent area of the South coast. So I thought that he must have been staying in Lancaster.
I will put the answer on tomorrow.
Trev..

There is a picture on Google Earth which is almost the same view. That picture was taken a little further East and at a higher elevation so that would have to be somewhere around the Railway Station.

I haven't seen the picture on Google Earth, but it was indeed G E that helped me find the location. In G E. I drew a line from the Memorial past one side of the spire and across the corner of one of the square market roofs. And it ended up at .... 'The Royal Kings Arms Hotel' It was just a challenge that I was set by another member. I enjoyed the challenge, and getting it right. Cheers All. Trev..
