Well after a lengthy last pic quiz, maybe this one will go a little quicker. This place is within the borough of Morecambe. Mr ESM has just correctly guessed that it is 'The Owl's Nest' in Bare.Again.... good luck. 1. There is a Newmarket within a few hundred yards. Newmarket street. 2. As the crow flies it is 175 mts (G E) to the the High water mark, prom railings or pebbles when the tide is out. But again as the crow flies, the nearest beach is only 110 mts away.Beach street 3. An easy 10 minute stroll will get you to the Lakeland ond even to Grange. Lakeland house (prom flats) & Grange street.

Is it the former Mulroy's cafe on the corner of Princes Crescent and Marine Rd East ?

Hi Peter. I am sorry but it is not Jack Mulroy's cafe. You will just have to put your thinking cap on again. Regards. Trev..

Sorry ESM, but that is a long way off, and too far from the sea at high tide.
Regards. Trev..
All the clues up to now are absolutely correct.

Well I think this may well give it away.
An easy 10 minute stroll will get you to the Lakeland and even to Grange.
But of course I know the answer.
Trev..
PS. My wife says that she is not impressed with the clues. when I read the last one out she said...What!!!!!!

Well you just take Mr ESM down to the 'OWLS NEST' and buy him a large beer, because he is correct Well done I thought that you would have guessed that, and indeed the last one as you come from Bare. If I was there I would have bought you both a drink. ;D I will now put the 'clues' explanation with the picture. Cheers. Trev..

When did this place open ?
I left Morecambe in 1965 and UK in 1990.
I've never even seen the replacement for the super swimming stadium (junior annual season ticket 10/- in the 1960's). I've read that the new replacement is called bubbles and is already due for demolition.
Am I an old fart ?
