They do scones as well!
You don't say what you like doing but there are plenty of things to do:-
Walking, the walk from Hest Bank to Heysahm can occupy a large chunk of time although it is possible to walk much further in both directions. Catch a bus to Overton and walk back via Sunderland Point. Catch a bus to Carnforth and walk back along the canal. Stroll along the prom, Tiddly Um Pom Pom.
You could also play bingo, go to a variety of pubs but avoid the Broadway unless you are eating there as they do not like people just drinking there.
There are many fine restaurants to choose from - reccomendations are available from the forum members on request.
If you are interested in photography, there are enough interesting subjects to occupy you for well over three days.
You could go shopping in the town centre or venture out to the Festival Market.
Fishing is very popular off the Stone Jetty and the Eastern Promenade but please be careful when back casting as there may be some other people about, unlikely but possible.
There are fruit machines galore but there never seems to be anyone in there.
You could sit in the Midland and be stared at by the passing crowds of less well off tourists and locals.
There is plenty to do in Morecambe.

You could walk the length of the 'Flock of Words' in the car park and read all the quotations.
Or.......
You could play magpie hopscotch on the Stone Jetty.

Alas Heyham nettle wine or nettle beer is no more. It has fallen foul of the rules and regulations from our lords and masters in Brussels. Ludicrous when it had been made in the village for years and I don't recall there ever having been one occasion of anybody having been poisoned by it.

Hi,
If you go to Heysham, walk down the little high street until you come to St peter's church on the left and turn up there. The cobbled path will take you up onto the Barrows. It is beautiful up there and you can follow the coastal path and walk over to Half Moon Bay toward the power stations.

and just keep going and going down as much of the coastal path as you like. You can get a bus back from Overton but check the times.

Just make sure it's a fine day with no rain forcast if you decide to do that - last summer Em and I got drenched miles from anywhere! Lovely walk on a nice day though.
