Google Earth have launced a new feature to Google Earth where we can travel under the sea news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7865407.stmI think that's fantastic but I will be more impressed when they manage to get some actual images of Scotland, rather than the pseudo terrain thing. Updating the UK more than once every 10 years would be another good thing.

It sure would be a good thing. The company I worked for had a new building built near the Heysham harbour traffic lights about 7 years ago. It is still a field on Google Earth.

Bubbles is still going strong here in Morecambe and the block of apartments where my step daughter lives in Yorkshire is still a petrol station forecourt.
I am all for technology being developed but keep the momentum going once something is created. Google earth is great for planning a journey to unknown destinations, I have never bothered with a sat nav because when you get to where you are going you don't know where you have benn.
