Oh I didn't know that. I wonder if it is just for Winter. I remember they were refused permission to put tables and chairs outside. Which I thought was wrong, because another place a little nearer the East end was doing it.

Shame about the tables and chairs. It would have attracted custom. Perhaps being on a corner it was a safety hazzard. THey've got outdoor tables and chairs at the doughnut/chip/ice cream place across the road by the clock tower, and further down Marine Rd at AJs. Those are both enclosed sort of areas though. Oh yes and Rita's too. That's got outdoor seating.
