Any more clues. Ok - the road it is on used to be a popular, local short cut route but they have closed part of it off to through traffic for safety reasons.

Sorry Trev but with such a valuable prize at stake, the judges have insisted that answers are not accurate enough so the answer has to be revealed. The corner of Langdale Road and South Road. In the distance can be seen the Broadway railway bridge. Do you know what it is yet? Mrs Keef suggested climbing up it - she hasn't spoken to me since I offered to hold her coat. Women

So near and yet so far. .... it is in the centre of the pictures that I was searching, but I thought that it was just a light column I still go with my original opinion, that it is a sewer vent pipe. Regards. Trev..
