We had a trip to Glasson Dock (Sun 9/11) and things didn't go quite to plan. The PlanBacon butties and tea, at the dockside caravan/cafe followed by a trip to the Smokehouse for some provisions. RealityWhen we arrived at Glasson it appeared to be closed, there were a few people around but not many. The much anticipated bacon butties were not to be had as the caravan was all closed up and deserted. With rumbling bellies we went to the Smokehouse and stocked up with some fine produce. Game stew(smoked of course), chicken breasts (also smoked), garlic (yes smoked) and a few other bits and pieces(yes they were too). The weather was a bit dreary so Glasson Dock was not seen at it's best. The mood was not made any better because we were now hungry. Plan BDriving back into Lancaster I had a brainwave, bacon butties - Devil's Bridge at Kirby Lonsdale, no wait there is a nearer option, Crock 'o' Lune. So in the end we ate bacon butties at the Crock 'o' Lune, stood huddled together, under the canopy to keep the rain off us, with some complete strangers including the guy who plays Kevin's Dad in Corrie. You sound almost as mad as us standing in the rain! I must have a look at The Smokehouse. It sounds interesting.

Yeah, he had a Harley jacket on but not sure what his bike was. It had two wheels and a seat, plus some other stuff.
