Yesterday we were in Morecambe and thrilled to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Lancaster Spitfire and Hurricane. Over heard the following conversation: Her: 'You'd expect them to have the Red Arrows in an Air Display wouldn't you?' Him: 'Don't be daft woman! It's not an Air Display! It's the Battle of Britain Triple Bypass!' ;D

We had them fly right over our house. We knew what time they were due but we thought they'd fly high over Lancaster and go out to sea then fly low to the shores of Morecambe. We heard at low drone of them and looked toward Carnforth and hey! they were coming towards us. How wonderful that they flew over quite low:). We got our own fly past;). We did expect the Red Arrows ourselves cos over the years theyve done that.

I remember seeing the Red Arrows too a few years ago, and a Harrier 'jump jet' too. We were standing on the Stone Jetty when these three flew in and noticed them coming in low over the land. I thought they seemed to be coming from the direction on Warton. It must have been spectacular to have them flying over your house.
