This was a bit of a mixed up day for me. After a few days without a walk I was starting to feel better with the aches and pains easing. With a lovely day promised we decided to try to do this walk and the walk itself was as always on the Knott a delight. However I finished the walk in considerable pain and with the thought in my head that this might even be a good time to bow out of the website and the time involved in getting it ready. Anyway enough of that for now, here are the pictures from the day, hope you enjoy them. Today however was a day to meet some old friends and some new and with around 50 pictures on the webpage I still had to leave out quite a few. Regards, Dave

Hi Dave I do hope you continue with the website as I get considerable pleasure out of seeing areas I have never been to. We have done a few of the walks you have illustrated on your website and it is rather strange to go to a place I have never been to and recognise the landscape.
I would imagine you have thousands of images on your site and I wonder if they are in a database.

I have another 5 walks to put on the webpage in the present format and then I will have a decision to make either to stop updating or to alter the format so that I don't have to spend as much time as I do at present on the PC. How do you do the website now? How long does it take you? I see you use Frontpage which is not ideal for what you are doing.
As an aside, is the Lancashire Coastal Way always ankle deep in mud, North of Bolton Holmes Caravan Site or were we just unlucky.
