Does anyone have any memories of crazy golf courses in Morecambe? I've seen one a postcard and there was one in Frontierland. I don't remember there being an Arnold Palmer Putting Course, which had the windmills, watermills and rocketships in a red-and-white colourscheme. They had them in most major seaside resorts, and many still do.
The only time I stayed for a week's holiday in Morecambe was 30 years ago, so I don't remember the courses it had. They're not seen on any other of the old postcards I've found.
There was supposed to be a new adventure golf on the promenade a few years ago and I heard mention of an indoor course.

I knew about the one in HMP, which is one of the old concrete courses. The Arnold Palmer courses were built from 1965 through the '70s and one in the '90s but are design classics. One hosts the World Crazy Golf Championsips each year. There was a crazy golf in Frontierland I forgot to mention, with moving obstacles including a spinning barrel. I didn't see a phot of it on Frontierland Remembered. I don't know if anyone has anything related to it. It's one thing that Morecambe lacks by way of traditional seaside attractions.

I'm pretty sure there used to be a crazy gold on the promenade, by the putting green near the Battery

There was crazy golf and swing-boats in the dell between Morecambe Baths and the part of the prom where the Moby Dick and the crabbing pool were. Happy days
