I'm not sure where you mean by 'up there' . But I will put my 2 penneth in anyway. It is pouring down now but has only been very cloudy earlier in the day. I have been working outside in jeans and short sleeved shirt, and it has been warm enough.
I will put some pics on Trev in Cyprus later on.

I too have been outside in my shirt sleeves - it was bally freezing!
It was very windy last night although it seems to be calming down a bit now. I was woken up at 3am by our garden furniture dancing round the garden. I secured it with bricks and then went back to bed. Some of the wedges have come out of the fence panels but the panels themselves have stayed in place.
According to the news, it is much worse further North - I would not like to be walking across the Skye Bridge today.

I just stood at the door to talk to someone this afternoon and almost froze to death. They couldn't come in because they aren't allowed to. (Missionary lads and I was home alone.)

Well it would appear from the latest forecasts that I have seen for the UK that it will be bad.
There is a red warning out for Northern England and especially Scotland. This means extremely strong winds probably causing damage. i am not sure about the rain...or snow !!!

Weather here is clear and sunny with quite a fresh breeze. Afternoons are 15C - 17C.

Hark at her gloating The weather here is dark, windy and hammering down with rain. I suppose it keeps those annoying flies away ;D The good news is that I don't have to go out until dinner time and that is only over to Bare.

It might be unfair but it doesn't stop you enjoying it though.
Well I have bravely walked to Sainsburys this morning and it was certainly fun. It is recycling bin day round our way and the street is littered with boxes and lids, all blowing about in the gentle breeze.

We have 300+ sunny days per year, but we have our off days. When it rains it is severe and may cause flooding. Thought you might like to see the beach near here : Peter

Thanks for that, just what I needed. Now I am off to Heysham Dave's site for some proper scenery Is the area within the trees some sort of development or it just an oasis in an otherwise featureless area. Those breakwaters are useless by the looks of things, with all that inland flooding.

It looks beautiful, by the way it came light here but now it has gone dark.

Wind so strong here it nearly blew me to Green Howarth on my way to the post office! Impossible to use a brolly on a day like this. I'd probably be doing impersonations of Mary Poppins if I tried.
