Warton Crag via Leighton Moss and Hall.
Arnside & Silverdale AONB.
At last a day of blue skies and virtually unbroken sunshine. I was by myself however as Edith wanted to catch up with the garden. I was away in good time because I wanted to be back for the Liverpool v Man Utd match and a short drive soon had me at Crag Foot. I had heard that the Bearded Tits were back at R.S.P.B Leighton Moss so headed there first before going up Warton Crag. For those thinking of doing this walk I would suggest that the Springtime is the best time of year. Pictures from the walk on a beautiful day are now available to view on the website for those wishing to do so. Regards, Dave

Just to say thanks for the photos.
I left the area 40 years ago and I still feel nostalgic about some of your walks.
As a teenager, we lived in Yealand, so these photos are all very familiar.

Peter, no doubt you have had a wander round your old habitats in 'Street View'

For people like you and I, Street view is really good. I too have revisited many many places. Even a house I worked on in Yealand. I did the conservatory on the LHS..... Remarkably it's still there. Trev..

A very nice house Peter, and as you may imagine I have been past it many times. No doubt it will still be there long after you and I have gone.
Regards. Trev..
