I attended a meeting (the first?) of MRRAG -Morecambe Regeneration Referendum Action Group - which was probably something to do with this. The spokesman Steve, declined to give me his full name or state the objectives of the group before he'd elected a Chairman - presumably to be himself.

Got into a bit of a shouting match and left. Some of Morecambe Town Council were there, but refused to sit at the top table. One of them told me on my way out that he was well-known to them.

I went along to an MTC meeting a couple of week's later (to hear Morecambe & Heysham Model Rly Club get our grant towards a new kitchen) and Steve Williams was there, having a go about missing minutes. The new MTC Town Clerk told him they were not missing!

Good Parish Council stuff....
