I can usually fathom out how these things work but THIS ONE has me stumped.

Write down all the numbers of your chosen colour and when you get to the houses, each number appears in a different house - so you 'select' the number when you choose a house.

So the colours and the crystal balls are all smoke and mirrors? But how does it know which door you will open? I opened all 3 doors and the numbers behind the other 2 were different.

It's a cleverly designed one, the first click sets the number behind the door to the number selected. The other numbers will be set to a random value on your mouse click. The idea is to make you believe that the numbers are already behind the door.
