Just 1 year ago, Willow announced to baywebbers that B&M Bargains were taking over the old Woolworth store in Morecambe - now maybe they have nothing to do with it but many of the items sold in B&M's is also sold in Hitchens just a couple of shops down. This is the sight that we were greeted to today........

Maybe, B&M had nothing to do with Hitchens closing but it may be a case of the fittest survive. One of the assistants gave the shop 2 - 3 weeks before it closes permanently but in the meantime....... THERE ARE LOADS OF BARGAINS TO BE HAD!!! It's sad that yet another shop is dying in Morecambe but be certain to get there quick to take advantage of the sale. (They are opening on Sunday to help clear out the stock)

Yeah, we drove past earlier and spotted something happening.
Let's hope it is an improvement on Hitchen's expensive tatt!
I know a bargain when I see one and they were few and far between in Hitchens.
The same stuff in Manchester clearance sheds at a quarter of the price - MMMMMMMM!

We'll be up there on the 31st for a concert in the Winter Gardens so we'll have a nosey - but as that's a Sunday it will probably be closed.

Coachman had a knack of buying things at Hitchens and then having to take them back again - I think it was just an excuse for another trip to Morecambe.
