My friends and I had planned to go to Shiraz this week, but it has closed down. Then we thought about trying McThais, but I went on Sunday and didn't like it.
Can anyone suggest anywhere else in Morecambe? We have been to Frankie and Benny's (which we like a lot) quite a few times now and fancy a change.

The Grove, Hest Bank Hotel, Blue Mountain (not sure if they do lunch), Honey Tree have all been good for us.

Thanks for those suggestions. I know the Royal Hotel well and have been there a few times. I also know The Thieving Squirrel...sorry I mean Squirrels.
We really wanted somewhere in Morecambe central though as that means we can have some wine and then stagger home.

Was there about a week ago, I'd say quality and quantity have improved recently. Good enough for us to be booking an 18th meal there next week.

Now I'm intrigued by Pebbles as we've not been there. We're coming up for a brief visit on Friday/Saturday and looking forward hopefully to the Honeytree but maybe worth checking out Pebbles..

Pebbles is/was The Crown and they have accommodation as well. We've always had a nice meal there and our routine is Pebbles followed by the Palatine. Anyone who remembers the Palatine as somewhere to avoid, give it another try - you'll be pleasantly surprised.
