What's he like ;D
Back to the competition.
I think the sign is at the junction of Broadway and the Promenade.

Yes we concur with that Trev but I can't think what the heck it can be pointing towards roughly in the same area as the Platform which we haven't already suggested.

Number 8.. Cinemas.?? Trev.. alas Location of the sign is correct Trev - The end of Broadway. Number 8 is quite odd because even though it is on the sign, there isn't one as such. I am surprised that nobody locally has been for a look. Maybe someone will, now you know where it is.

Location of the sign was the first thing I realised but did not want to divulge it early on. The measurements (miles) give a good clue, as does the background.
I will have a think on the other things you have said.

Well done Trev - Leisure Park is correct for the other part of number 8 but I have wandered the streets of Morecambe, looking for this elusive feature. Maybe it will appear again when the warmer weather comes. As for Willow's suggestion that number 7 is station, (She appears to be losing the plot ) Maybe it is time for her and Coachman to be taking it easy in a home for the bewildered. It just proves just how easily marbles can be lost. 1 - ? 2 - ? 3 - East Promenade - Trev 4 - Bare - Trev 5 - The North (A6) M6 - Trev (After a stewards decision) 6 - Tourist - Willow 7 - Information - Willow 8 - Superbowl - Trev (yes there are 2 number 8's) 8 - Leisure Park - Trev 9 - Fairground Roundabout - Trev 10 - Happy Mount Park - Trev Location - The end of Broadway (the one near the sea )

When you said it was a sign for something that wasn't really there now, I looked on a aerial picture. I looked for a leisure thing, because it's a holiday sign, that was a 'has been'. And look what I found. Cheers. Trev..

Is Leisure Park referring to that travelling type amusement thingy? They have obliterated Frontierland so if it was ahas-been you'd think they'd have obliterated that too.
Oh come on there's a so-called station near Frankie and Benny's which used to be Burger King. The Information people call it a station anyay and a bus station (that glass pyramid thing.) but I grant you I did type 7 instead of 2 ;D I've had a busy weekend with a non-co-operative chandelier.

Willow said.. "I've had a busy weekend with a non-co-operative chandelier. " If one lives in a Hall with a chandelier, one should let the hired help deal with it. Anyway I thought you would be off to the end of Broadway. ;D Preferably via South Road. Smiling Trev..

The "hired hand" has dealt with it We passed the junction at the end of Broadway the other week and I said to Willow that she should keep a lookout for signs as I was busy driving (maybe that should read "chauffeuring") but all she had in mind was bl**** red doors from the other competition!!

That's one of my favourites as well. I thought about the episode when we were posting. Looking at the one on the floor, Willow must have pretty high ceilings.
Cheers. Trev..
