What unusual little stalls Peter. They look quite small until you see the size of the people in comparison.

Merry Christmas everyone from Brrr Sunny Florida. Went over to Alabama today and it felt like but did not snow. The lights are up outside the house. The tree is up and lit inside the house and I am settled in to read a couple of good books The Black Death by John hatcher and Unexplained Mysteries of WW1. Went to the school faculty party where I teach this past Friday. Had an open house at my home and crossed over to Mobile for lunch with old friends who gave me two boxes of Christmas Crackers and a plum pudding with a jar of clotted cream which you don't usually get here. I work weekly, after I finish teaching at my school, with prisoners on a drama ministry which was really enjoyable yesterday. I directed the Nutcracker at my school. The Symphony Orchestra played at my church with our combined choirs and hand bells. On Christmas eve one of my former students returns home and will be singing at two services. She has been Mary Poppins on Broadway for the past two years. We have a lot of students from this area who have made it big, both on the stage and in the movies and television. One jjust had a film premier here last month and has two films coming out in Feb one with Billy Bob Thornton and another with Brad Pitt. I have directed or taught most of these students who all come home for the major holidays and are in their twenties and thirties now. They never forget the people in the schools or community theaters that they started out in and are just nice people with home town roots. This area reminds me of Morecambe in it's heyday of theater. There are so many outlets to perform and so many fantastic programs in all the schools. They are true nurturers of talent here and I feel very blessed to be a tiny part of it. Every high school has outstanding game bands as well. I have LOVED the photos of all the walks and show them to anyone who has a moment to look. THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTE. There are many wonderous places in this world but Morecambe and the surrounding area is God's country as far as different levels of beauty. The moon, Venus, Pluto and several planets have been seen like they have not been seen for 136 years and have been fascinating to gaze out at each evening. The local planetarium has had their big telescopes in verious locations so people can do some star gazing. To think they have been around since the Christ Child's Birth is awesome. I know that on those walks you have seen some pretty beautiful evenings in the night sky. Well from our sky to yours Merry, Merry, Christmas everyone. Cheers. My glass is raised to you. Odom in America.

We have been blessed with family who in the last few years have discovered our love of cooking. The problem is that now we feel like spare parts as they have just created a fabulous Christmas Eve feast. Now is the time to sit and enjoy good company. Merry Christmas to all of you and please keep your tales of what you get up to, coming. God bless each and every one of you.

Hi Keith and every one. Merry Christmas to you all, I hope that you have a wonderful time.
We will be having a quiet time, just the three of us. Hilary's Dad... Hilary and Myself. It is cold outside (heating on) but the sun is streaming through the windows and we are all quite healthy, so what more do we need. We will be watching TV, Hilary has one in the kitchen as well. I will be on my laptop, and 'Lunch will be at 3 or 4 this afternoon.
Best wishes from Trev..

The weather has changed today. After a couple of weeks without a cloud and around 15C during the day, this morning was overcast. The forecast is not good, either being cooler and some rain. Here is another "live" webcam from nearby : Have a great yuletide ! Peter

Good morning Peter. I see the web cam is showing a little rain and dark clouds as I type this. We get days like that, and indeed we desperately need the rain. But I would rather have a sunny day like we have now!!
Regards. Trev..
