Re the weather. I am so sorry about this... (says he smiling) but I just have to do it..... This is the view from our bedroom balcony this morning, facing into the sun. I see from this forum that it is 0.3c in Morecambe, but of course it is only dawn there. And on the BBC news it forecasts -3c tonight. This is one of the reasons to be out here, even if we have to be poor and out here. Best wishes. Trev.. PS The snow flakes are Willow's. ;D

Those snowflakes should be melting quickly on your photo Trev. It looks like a nice day there today.

Hi Ian. What good pictures. Number two for my choice, it is brilliant. and of course I know the location well.
I have just noticed the cctv camera on picture three. It's a pity that it doesn't broadcast on the internet.
Cheers. Trev..

Absolutely gorgeous Ian. We have some beautiful photos on the forum and I fear we are going to lose track of them as they are not in the photo forum. I remember gnasher commenting on that a while back. I wonder if we should have copies of them in there to refer back to. What do you think?

Hi Trev, I think it's so port control now whats coming ;D ;D But I don't honestly know if The port controller's use it . Hi Willow, Regarding the photos unless the system is set up to Delete files after a certain time I would have thought that they would Still be kept. I always keep a copy of every one I post and Most of mine are Hosted on www.flickr.com/photos/8749230@N08/Regards Ian

Ian - I don't think Willow is referring to them being deleted but to the fact that they are hidden away inside specific threads and it will be hard to find particular pictures in the future. It would be easier if all the pictures on the forum were stored in the same place, that way an index list could be made of them. I could easily set up an index if that were the case but while they are all in different places, it would be very hard to keep up with it.
Anyone got any ideas of where all pictures could be stored without costing the earth?

Hi Keith, There are several as you probably know, users.imagevenue.com/host.php is free but I think it can be a bit of a pain to use. If it is Just to Store images the I would go for www.flickr.com/ it is free, The only thing is if you want to Block downloads then you have to pay £12\15 annually, I Use it. I notice on your website that you have the downloads blocked that was just a thought. Regards Ian
