As long as you spot the contest starting, and find a difference every day , you can't loose ? You can draw, though ! Peter This is only partially true. It also depends on how many people are entering the competition. But you are correct about spotting it starting. Many times in the past I have been disadvantaged because the quiz has been posted in the hour before midnight in the UK. This of course means that in my little world (2 hrs different) I am tucked up in bed. ;D But it is only a FUN quiz, to be enjoyed. Many thanks to the organisers, I do enjoy them. Peter, can I ask what time you posted your last message. Regards. Trev..

Peter, can I ask what time you posted your last message. Regards. Trev.. We are up quite late because everything on UK TV arrives here 1 hr later and much of the interesting stuff is on then. I usually check emails and stuff immediately before I go to bed, and I often get to bed after 01.00. Strangely, I don't sleep as long as I get older. I've got my profile set to GMT+1 which should give the correct time for France (GMT+2 in summer). There seems to be a quirk in the software as stuff I post now - 09.43 appears as 10.42 above. I think you are GMT+2. How does it work for you ? Peter

Hi Peter. Yes you are right we are two hours head of the UK here, GMT or British Summer time.
My computer obviously stamps any messages / posts with the time here So I just have to remember you are 1 hour different / back from my timestamp .
We too have the problem of good TV programmes being on as we go to bed. My wife watched the X Factor final last night on the bedroom TV.
PS. I look from time to time at your MGS site. Its a pity that there aren't more class photos from other years. But it seems to be the same for 'my school' Balmoral. There seems to be little back information on the web.
Regards. Trev..

Thanks Peter, I will have a look at the link. I was a Balmoral from 1953. Addition. I have had a look now and unfortunately the class pictures are all from different years Regards. Trev..

I suppose it would be more of a challenge if there were more people having a go.
