Our aim is to help promote the sport of small boat angling, and to pursue and encourage facilities geared towards helping dinghy anglers get the most out of fishing Morecambe Bay. Our website will mainly contain information relevant for members and prospective members, but feel free to have a browse around and contact us if you require. You will find the club has much to offer in friendly helpful advice, from anglers that have fished and sailed Morecambe Bay and the surrounding waters for many years.

Hi Paul. Nice to see you posting on here again. Thanks for putting the links on. I have had a quick look, and will return to them later. I for one never knew that there was a Morecambe dinghy angling club. I have looked at the instructions about launching and collecting a boat. I have seen the video and the Item that interested me most was ... The weather forecast. I am always interested in what the weather is doing or going to do in good old Morecambe. Cold and wet next week by the look of things.
Thanks again, Trev..
EDIT. Well done with the boat Paul. See I did read it.

Does it make you smug?? Yes very poor weather here the past few days, wet windy and miserable yet again...
Yes the boat project was a bit of a challenge to say the least, but got there in the end.... although there are still jobs that need doing, that will likely not be touched till next summer now.....
Hope you and A. Hil are both keeping well, isnt it strange that at 28 i still think of you both as Aunty hil and Uncle Trev

Hi again Paul, and everyone.
I have certainly no cause to be smug, believe me. Admittedly we are not due to have temperatures as low as your forecast. But have a look at this link.. http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/17600.html
When we are used to temperatures in the mid 20s and up to 30c then it feels really cold. I had to put the heater on in the car today for the first time in about six months. And.... I will have to put the immersion on tomorrow because of no sun on the solar panel water heater.
Life's hard for some you know.
Cheers. from Uncle and Aunt

Never mind Paul. It will soon be Summer in England. It is down to 11.6c outside. It will be warmer at sea level over a 1,000 feet below us.
Here is a picture of a few boats to get back on the thread. These are in a little harbour at Latchi on the North west coast.

I've had a boat here for the 10 years until April when I sold it.
The mooring was here :

This is Port Camargue, near Nimes with space for 4800 boats. The apartments on the artificial islands all have their own mooring.
